THE CHRISTMAS ARCHIVE IS OPEN
WELCOME TO THE CHRISTMAS ARCHIVE
Introducing twelve icons who changed everything.
These pieces were never meant to be hidden. They've lived quietly in the corners of our home, companions in lamplight, tucked beside shelves, resting in unnoticed spaces – until now.
This seasonal collection gathers the icons, dreamers and cultural shapers who defined an era, each captured as a one-of-one oil-on-panel cut-out.
All are original works created by an unnamed artist whose identity remains unrevealed until delivery. What we can tell you is that the featured artist has a strong reputation in the art world - they have exhibited at the National Portrait Gallery’s 150th anniversary exhibition, were selected for the BP Portrait Award, and published in 500 Portraits by Sandy Nairne, 2011.

“I love @secretarchive_art! It’s a bit addictive. Can I tell people about it or does ‘secret’ mean secret? I feel slightly like I’m in a Fight Club loop.”

About Secret Archive
There’s art in the corners of my house if you know where to look.
The Secret Archive began as a quiet fascination with the hidden - the characters and figures that lived with us long before they were ever meant to be seen.
I live with a renowned professional artist whose studio is full of extraordinary paintings and cut-out figures created over the years. Over time, these hidden figures began to feel like a village of outsiders; travellers, fighters, oddballs, familiar faces and imagined ones, each carrying their own quiet story.
Some were exhibited, many were never released, and so countless pieces simply settled into the odd corners of our home, under lamplight, beside bookshelves, tucked into quiet domestic scenes, bringing their own beauty.
